Up for grabs is one of the nicest pre bond era Seamasters I’ve had the pleasure of owning and wearing.
As no nonsense a daily driver as a watch can get, this example is in very good condition for the age.
Powering the watch is the Omega cal 1111, essentially an ETA 2892 movement that runs like it was serviced recently given its accuracy at +2s/day and a strong amplitude over 289.
I have to imagine that the watch was refinished at some point in its life, though it seems to have been done quite well.
The dial has some wear near the centre, likely from the rotation of the hour hand.
As is, the watch fits my 7.3” wrist comfortably but has no additional links
For a watch that is as neo vintage as they come, the bezel action is incredibly satisfying and simultaneously secure
The package includes the watch and omega box only.
Rarely do these come up for sale, let alone in this condition
