Hi all,

Being a bit of a Trekkie, I snapped this up here as soon as I saw it a number of months back, but have found that despite my fascination with it, I just keep wearing my other watches (so, going to make room for another). It is very interesting piece, designed in collaboration by William Shatner and Ilan Srulovic (founder of Egard Watch Company). You can see a great deal of info on this collaboration on their website:

Passages by Egard and William Shatner

The watch, which runs on an Miyota 8S27 automatic movement, is notably unique with its curved sapphire crystal (with AR coat) and fascinating and unusual case shape. While not a 'Star Trek' watch, there are some features which put one very much in a 'space' frame of mind, like the 'alien head' case shape, the decorative spots of genuine meteorite dust on the dial, and for the Trekkies out there, the saucer-shaped minute hand and the weave pattern on right side of the the dial, bringing to mind some of the awesome 70's fabrics that appeared on the the Original Series.

The watch also features a sub seconds dial, the open heart to allow viewing of the escapement at work, the sun and moon subdial, the etched deployment clasp, and of course, William Shatner's signature on the upper half of the case back.

As noted above, this is a limited edition, this one being number 12 of 999.

Here are the watch's specs from the Egard site:

I bought the watch in new condition from the first owner, and I have only tried it on once. It is free of scratches, in absolutely wonderful condition.

I am asking $350 Canadian plus shipping, which is $15 in Canada (retail price from Egard is $573 Canadian by today's exchange rate). I am open to offers. PM me or email through my profile. Feel free to search the feedback sections, all good.

Thanks for looking,

Ken
