Hey folks
Up for grabs is the very charismatic cousin to the standard Speedy Pro.
Essentially holding the same movement as the black and white example, the 3594.50 was issued for the 40th anniversary of the Speedmaster.
Obvious deviations from the pro are the full steel bezel, a broad arrow handset and an applied Omega logo at 12, something only seen on the Sapphire Sandwich models, making the 3594.50 one of the best bang for buck Speedy’s around.
Unlike standard Speedies, the dial on these broad arrows are more of a dark gray than jet black.
In overall excellent condition, the watch head appears to have been polished at some point in the past, while the bracelet is in even better shape with minor wear if any.
The watch runs like a champ and has likely been serviced very recently as evidenced by the amplitude.
Unlike a lot of examples, the handset and logo here have minimal oxidation.
There are enough links to fit my 7.3” wrist along with an extra Uncle Seiko bracelet, and an exhibition case back fitted to the watch.
The original case back and inner cage is included, as well as a case back tool and the Omega service box pictured.
Serial number dates the watch to 2000
Setting this for a bargain $4750 shipped from the GTA
