For sale is my Tudor Black Bay 79220N, a highly sought-after reference with a remarkably short production run of roughly six months before Tudor discontinued it.
Purchased new in 2016 from a GTA Authorized Dealer, this watch remains one of the most collectible modern Tudors, featuring several unique design elements that set it apart. Unlike later Black Bay models, the 79220N showcases the coveted
rose logo dial and smiley face text, giving it a distinct vintage-inspired charm. In addition, it comes with a non-riveted Tudor bracelet that is much preferred by collectors. It is also powered by the ETA 2824 movement, a proven and reliable caliber known for its ease of serviceability—another reason this reference remains in high demand. Over the past years, the value of this model has steadily increased and continues to appreciate, making it not only a beautiful timepiece but also a sound investment. With the Black Bay line expanding year after year, this is the **original one to own!
The watch is unpolished and showing honest signs of wear, which I have done my best to capture under natural light. I would suspect a light polish would likely restore it to near-new condition, I have chosen to leave it in its original state.
This is a complete full set, including the boxes, warranty cards all booklets, OEM NATO/ These early Rose Dial Black Bays (specially the black one) are becoming increasingly difficult to find in such complete condition.
Selling for $5,000 + shipping, (which I believe is the cheapest globally).
