Hey folks
Up for grabs is as quintessential a daily as one can get.
Hitting all the requirements one might need from blue dial to legibility and accuracy, this discontinued model does it all and with a relative degree of ease.
This specific model was and still is, one of my favourites thus far owing to its simplicity, and ability to steal the show with a beautiful blue sunburst dial that changes hue based on lighting.
The 3/6/9 layout gave it Explorer vibes and coupled with the blue dial, made it a massive improvement on the Explorer, in my humble opinion.
The watch comes as a full kit right down to the original receipt and bezel protector.
The watch has some very minor signs of wear on the case and bracelet from regular use, nothing egregious and is fully linked, with a total of 12 links, not counting end links. The most obvious signs of wear are to the clasp for regular use
These 36 models featured a bit of a maxi case that made them wear closer to a 38mm watch, lending it a very comfortable presence for a 7.5” wrist like mine.
The watch retains its original edges and lustre and as far as I can tell has not been polished.
These fan favourites rarely come up for sale, as such I’m setting this at $8399 in the GTA
