Hey folks,

Up today I have one of the simplest and most versatile Grand Seikos in the Elegance lineup, the SBGW231.

What this piece lacks in ruggedness, it makes up for in sophistication and panache.

Coming in at a 37.5mm, this watch steals the show when on wrist as it oozes class and harkens to a more accessible Calatrava aesthetic.

The watch comes as a full kit dated 2020. I’m also including an aftermarket brown leather strap for a more casual look.

I’ve had this watch many times and it’s always been a wrist magnet.

The 231 and 235 have been getting a lot more love and attention in the past few months thanks to Grand Seikos green and blue dial variants from the SBGW persuasion.

As with most GS, pictures don’t do this piece justice

The watch is in excellent condition with little to no signs of wear
