Up for grabs is one of my favourite seikos yet.
This piece was an impulse purchase by me at the AD and I truly enjoyed it for the whole month I owned it. Alas its replacement came earlier than expected and as such, its in the chopping block.
The watch is in overall excellent condition with minor marks from the clasp on one of the links and some minor marks on the upper portion of the clasp.
The bezel, crystal and case are all in excellent shape.
The textured dial is tastefully done and not exaggerated, the adjusted date orientation and the blues stainless steel bezel all come together nicely in an anthracite blue hue.
The Octagonal bezel gives me Tag Heuer x Seiko vibes and the bracelet is probably one of the more comfortable ones Seiko makes, akin to a president style bracelet
The watch measures at 41.3mm x 48.2mm x 12.5mm, essentially a goldilocks size for most collectors wrists.
The 6R55 movement has impressed with its 3 day power reserve and +4s accuracy/day
The bezel is off centre by a slight hair - authenticity
This watch I’m sure will serve the next owner well as it’s a cut above the fan favourite SPB143, being slightly more dressy and more refined.
The watch comes as a full kit with tags, manual, warranty card, and extra links sized for my 7.3” wrist loose
The watch is just about a month old and was used approximately 2-3 days over the span of that month.
