I am selling these on behalf of a friend who is finally making the plunge into higher-end watches and so needs to thin out what he has in the watch box.
First up is a gold-plated Seiko men's dress watch (model 5Y32-7000 [R1]). The battery and back-case gasket have just been replaced by a watch repair centre. It runs perfectly and is a very nice, elegant watch. Condition is easily 90%+, less a very small mark on the crystal that I cannot catch by my SLR under any conditions and which you need to look for (it is at the 1:00 o'clock position). No issues with the gold-plate anywhere - it is still complete and flawless everywhere on the watch. Comfortably fits my 7.25" wrist. With the very minor mark on the crystal in mind, I have adjusted the price to reflect this very minor flaw: $30.00.
Next up is a stainless steel Emporio Armani Meccanico men's dress watch. This watch is in 90%+ condition and fits my 7.25" wrist. It is powered by a mechanical decorated movement and worn on a stainless steel butterfly bracelet, which is extremely comfortable. This particular model also has a display case back. The watch runs well and accurately (within 10 seconds a day, based on my timing machine). This is a larger-case dress watch with lots of wrist presence and elegance. Price is $50.00.
Next up is a polished stainless steel with gold highlights Seiko men's dress watch (model 5Y39-7A50[R1]). The battery and back-case gasket have just been replaced by a watch repair centre. It runs perfectly and is a very nice, elegant watch. Condition is easily 85%+; the only reason why it is not higher is the scuffing on the bracelet which can easily be buffed out with a Cape Cod clothe or by a watchmaker with 10 minutes effort. Comfortably fits my 7.25" wrist. The price for this watch is $40.00.
Finally, up for sale is a quartz Henry Birks & Sons Chronograph with chocolate brown face, large date and three sub-dials. Watch is literally in brand-new condition. All registers reset perfectly to zero and it comes with the owner's blue leather folder, including the warranty card, warranty explanatory card and a watch polish clothe. The warranty card also includes life-time battery changes for this watch at Henry Birks & Sons stores. Price for this elegant men's dress chronograph is: $90.00.
The prices include basic shipping and PayPal fees (no e-cheques and only method of payment accepted is PayPal, unless in Canada and then via Interac is acceptable / preferred). If you want insurance, it will be slightly more (literally pennies, in most instances), depending on where you are and so I strongly recommend that you pay the bit extra for the coverage and peace of mind. Please note that I only ship to Continental North America unless I know you / have previously completed transactions with you. And also please note that if I am shipping to a foreign country, you are responsible for all associated Customs and brokerage fees in your country.
I can provide many references and have done business before on several major watch sites (over 200 transactions) (WUS, TZ, DWC, CWC and PMWF - search for either my name – James DeBruin, or JAD3703). My e-bay id is jd3703 and my rating is 100%. Note that I only accept PayPal as payment (no e-cheques). I can only be contacted via e-mail: james.debruin@forces.gc.ca or jadebruin@rogers.com
PLEASE READ THIS: The first person who says that they want to buy it will either make arrangements for me to temporarily hold the watch (max six [6] hours and only for someone who I know / have done business with before) or send me the money (PayPal ID: jadebruin@rogers.com), immediately. If you have not requested me to hold the watch or have not paid, I will move on to the next person with money. Note that I am not responsible for your e-mail not making it to me; you are. Hence I have included my e-mail address, as I carry my personal iPhone / work BB with me 24 / 7 and I will reply promptly. Please note that I will only deal with those communications that I receive.
Thanks very much for looking and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Best regards,
James
