Here's a beautiful, near mint 44mm PAM 00590, with Panerai's in-house manual wind P.5000 movement featuring an "8-day" power reserve achievable via its twin spring barrels. More than a full week of run time on a single wind. In fact, this 8-day movement actually runs for “9” days on a full-wind, and to my observation maintains accurate timekeeping over the duration.
The condition of the case is excellent. There’s a tiny scuff on the bezel above the 12-noon marker, but only noticeable on certain angles and very close up. Easily polishable, but hardly necessary. Case back has a few light surface scratches but, again, hardly noticeable except on close inspection. Sapphire crystal is perfect.
Originally purchased from an AD in 2019 and comes as a full kit, including all boxes, papers, booklets, strap tool, bezel protector, OEM leather strap and OEM tang buckle in excellent condition with some chaffing of the leather at the buckle fold, and the unworn OEM black rubber strap. Recently back from a service check by Panerai’s Service Centre at Richemont Canada.
