This timepiece came directly from the original owner’s family. It is very well preserved, with original bevels and a strong case. This is what collectors refer to as the Mark 0.5 dial variant (only the 1.6 mil – 1.8 mil serial range), which came out right after glossy dials—the first variation of the matte dial with the long “E.” It features a period-correct small GMT hand, and the cherry on top is a beautiful, vibrant fuchsia-colored bezel.

PRICE: $28,750 CAD (bank wire only) + insured FedEx shipping

BRAND: Rolex
REFERENCE: 1675
MATERIAL: Stainless steel
SERIAL: 1.6 mil, dating it to approximately 1967/1968
MOVEMENT: Self-winding
SIZE: 40 mm

BRACELET: Period-correct Rolex riveted Oyster bracelet 7206 with “79” end links and clasp code 1/68

ITEM CONDITION: Good condition for its age. Some marks on the case, bezel, and bracelet, but an extremely honest case—see pictures of the bevels. You don’t see cases like this often. The original owner’s son stated the watch was serviced last year, but there is no paperwork to confirm this. The acrylic crystal appears to be new. The watch is running very strong at +10 sec/day with an amplitude of 270. The Oyster bracelet (folded links) has a total of 13 links, all removable, with plenty of adjustment at the clasp. It will fit wrists up to 21 cm. The bracelet shows some stretch, wear, and wobbly end links—but that’s part of the charm.

DIAL: Original matte tritium dial with tritium hands, perfectly matching patina. The lollipop seconds hand is missing a tiny bit of lume.

WHAT’S INCLUDED: Watch only

PS: JUBILEE BRACELET ON THE PICTURE IS NOT INCLUDED
