So hear goes.......
This watch was presented to me in an terrible state... The case was attempted to be opened by someone who obviously had no clue what they were doing.... the watch was bashed to watch collector death... <BR><BR>
I had purchased the watch once knowing the movement was correct... which it is correct..... <BR><BR>
I then along with another watch nut friend of mine decided to polish buff and recreate this very nice watch.<BR><BR>
So here are the results...<BR><BR>
So hear is the scoop..... The watch runs well... The watch has been so polished to make it look 80% from the back and 95% from the front. <BR><BR>
The back was attempted to be opened with pliers and needed huge polishing and some of the engraving on the back is certainly more faint than before... <BR><BR>
They also attempted to use some type of vice holding the bracelet and totally scratched the BREGUET engraving and when being polished, it has all gone...... on the back of the lugs, it was terrible, now excellent or better....<BR><BR>
The bezel was still fine and the case was lightly polished.... These pictures are accurate....<BR><BR>
This watch is now in very good looking shape and it is a great everyday watch. I will state again, this watch was just gross but now is only a great everyday watch....<BR><BR>
The asking price for this watch will be $3795 plus insured shipping from Canada... I will entertain trades as well. As STATED PREVIOUS... This watch has been totally overhauled especially the case and bracelet.... See photos....<BR><BR>
