FSOT is a lovely Patek Philippe Calatrava 5227J with box and papers purchased at Brinkhaus Calgary in October of 2018. The MSRP of this watch is nearly 50k + tax. It is more expensive than your standard Calatrava mainly due to the addition of the hunter case back which seamlessly is built into the case back. This case back allows the owner to put a personal engraving on the watch if they choose. It also creates a VERY cool discussion point at social gatherings. My family really enjoyed exploring this timepiece and finding the hidden case back by themselves and being rewarded with the beauty of the movement within. This watch is in excellent condition with no flea bites, dings, or dents, and it is in unpolished condition. The original owner was an older gentleman from Alberta. He hardly wore it. At 39mm diameter and only a 3.3mm thick movement this watch is dressy but has a good size and presence on the wrist.

This watch is a no brainer at this price - wear it and enjoy it for a few months and sell it for the same value low risk if its not for you. When was the last time you saw a Patek NOT go up in value after 5 years?
