Hey all,
Up for sale is my Laco Paderborn Pilot Watch. This watch is (I understand) the most generally like the original Laco's which were furnished to the German Luftwaffe during WWII...albeit in a much more manageable size. It's a bold and good looking piece. The dial is easily readable with the external minute dial and the internal hour dial. The beadblasted finish is nicely even and a nod (again as I understand it) to the original cases of WWII and comes with the unique straight lugs that are accurate for the original watch.
Here are the technical details:
•Swiss Automatic (self-winding) Movement ETA 2824.2, 25 Jewels
•Sandblasted stainless steel case
•Solid, engraved sandblasted case back
•Black Dial (type B)
•There is no date window on the dial.
•Superluminova C3 treated Hands, hour numbers and markers
•Thermally blued steel hands
•Anti-reflective/ scratch resistant sapphire crystal
•Brown calf leather strap with double rivets (20mm)
•Case diameter : 42 mm X 13 mm
•Water resistant up to 5 ATM (50 m)
This particular watch was purchased in August. The watch keeps excellent time and is in near mint to mint condition as you can see from the pics. There are no scratches that I can see on the case or crystal. The strap has been broken in somewhat though I wore the watch only occasionally. Close up photos of the strap are included so you can see the wear.
I'm asking $825US OBRO for this watch, Paypalled and shipped with insurance and tracking.
A local cash deal would be nice. Please PM me for interest.
And now for the pics...
