As originally reported on Watchpaper Blog and discussed in General Watch Related Talk here on CWC, we at Cobra de Calibre - my Canadian-based watch brand - have designed, received prototypes of and are now offering our third and latest dive watch design as a reward for backing our kickstarter campaign and helping put these timepieces into production!
With two successful watch models already produced and marketed, we've really pulled out all the stops in our quest to create top notch timepieces for fellow watch enthusiasts with all of the quality and none of the 'sticker shock' of similar offerings:
Our Mark III diver features a completely custom designed CNC machined 42mm solid marine grade CuSn8 bronze case with twin screw down winding crowns (one for the 120 click rotating bezel and the other for the automatic movement), 200m water resistance and engraved stainless steel back,
vintage style domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating on its underside,
vertical textured dial with rose gold tone C3 'super luminova' filled hands and indices,
and to top it all off we've employed the robust high beat Miyota cal. 9015 hacking automatic movement and added a thick 22mm Italian leather strap with matching solid CuSn8 bronze strap buckle...
...and even a DLC version with brightly polished bezel to show off the bronze!
Here's the deal: although the Mark III bronze diver will retail for around $670.00 CAD ($599.00 USD) plus shipping and taxes, by backing our kickstarter campaign you will receive your own brand new bronze Mark III for the early bird rate of only $499.00 on your wrist! (add $30 for the DLC version)
Availibility is limited and the campaign ends on Oct 05. Please remember we need to reach our campaign target to guarantee production (note: kickstarter pledges are not charged to the backers' accounts unless the campaign succeeds, following which you are guaranteed to receive your reward).
