Hi all,
This is a circa 1950 production F6212 Omega, according to serial number reference materials online.
The watch appears original with a lot of patina, spots, and scuffs particularly on the dial. It appears to have had three or four services according to the inside case back markings over it's nearly 75 years of life.
These were cases produced in the US by Wadsworth for the US market for Omega in order to save on import duties, as I understand.
Watch winds, sets, and keeps time, however I do not know the last date of service.
Has a 342 bumper movement in the approximately 33mm wide case. The case is 14k gold filled. Crystal is probably not original as it has a high dome. Strap is brand new and unworn and will fit a gorilla wrist.
Signed Omega 3 times: on crown, on movement and on dial.
Asking $575, plus actual shipping. EFT or PayPal FF. Will also consider interesting trades.
Don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions and I'll be happy to help.
Thanks.
JP
