Hi folks
For your consideration is a watch that doesn’t come up for sale too often on this side of the border, let alone in a non polarizing colour-way.
This ref 2-39-47-06-02-04 is features a domed galvanic blue sunray dial that appears indigo in some lights and features incised hour indexes; yes they’re precision cut in the dial and the base mirror polished to evoke applied indices. The sapphire crystal is similarly domed to complement the dial and hone the plexiglass look of a 60’s timepiece.
The rhodium plated hands are mirror-like and add a luxurious yet simple aesthetic to the watch.
The panorama date is a treat for the aging and youthful eyes with a detailed stepped aperture and twin monotone discs with barely a hair spacing between them.
This 42mm timepiece is extremely wearable as a daily or dressy piece, owing to its short lug to lug of 48.5mm and a thickness of 11.9mm
GO doesn’t stop their attentiveness at case and dial but carries forward to their exhibition caseback that houses the 39-47 caliber that features a 21-carat gold oscillating weight, Glashütte three-quarter plate with stripe finish and swan-neck fine adjustment.
This is truly as close to Lange level as you can get while spending Omega money.
While I have no service history on this piece, it runs like it was serviced at -4s/day and very healthy amplitude over 300.
The watch itself is in excellent shape and has been worn very gently as there are no minimal micro hairlines to the case side.
The watch comes with double box, manual, warranty card and tag.
Retail on this piece is $10,300 + tax
I’m asking about 35% off retail at $6850 shipped from the GTA
