Up today I have the venerable and iconic Speedmaster Professional Ref 311.30.42.30.01.005
Every bit as toolish and wearable as the current gen, though a bit larger and more masculine, it is powered by the workhorse 1861 movement that is keeping COSC level time at +2s/day.
Coming from a one owner collection, it is in overall very good condition with a few wear signs to the links on the 12 o clock bracelet and some minor marks to the polished bits of the case and on the clasp and rear lugs.
The hesalite as well has some minor signs of wear that don’t really affect legibility, essentially in keeping with well cared for 8.5 year old timepiece.
Currently sized for my 7.3” well, there are 2 extra links in the box along with the 2 original nato straps. Also included is the double cards, strap change tool, manual, medallion and loupe.
If you’re looking for a robust and iconic piece, this is the one to get that will serve you well for a long time.
