Hey folks
Up for grabs is my tough as nails U50.
One of the easiest wearing watches I’ve owned while just as handsome and comfortable beyond its requirement, the watch is a joy to wear and play with.
Incredibly legible by day and torch like at night you’ll be able to tell the time just as easily at high noon or midnight.
The U50 is a watch unto itself with no real old-school inspiration in its design language, save for its big brother the U1.
The U50 is a tool watch through and through, with no frills or fancies, except for its inherent robustness, especially a 500m water resistance in a slim 11.7mm thick case.
At 41mm, the watch wears closer to everyone’s sweet spot of 39mm thanks to a lug to lug of 46.8mm
The AR coating aids the legibility of the watch and almost makes the crystal disappear.
The captive bezel is held in by screws and bezel markings are done in relief, with infill of black and red to help them pop off the surface.
The tegimenting process adds an additional layer of toughness to the bezel and with Sinns submarine steel this watch can take a beating and still look nearly factory fresh give thet its about 2 years old now.
The watch is running at an impeccable 0s/day
Overall condition is excellent with minor signs of wear to one link and the clasp.
Currently sized for my 7.3” wrist, there are 2 additional links in the box.
Coming as a full set with double box, extra links, loctite, Allen keys, strap change tool, warranty card and manual, it’s as complete as can be
Asking $3575 shipped from the GTA
