Hey folks
For your consideration is a watch you’ve likely never had the pleasure of handling or wearing.
Coming out of Seoul, this watch was created due to a passion for motorsports and the spirit of racing.
Unmistakably similar to the platinum Daytona, but for 0.5% of the price, it is a very worthy alternative, with a character unto itself.
Tailored for everyday wear with optimal size, thickness, and water resistance, the watch is a testament to what micro brands can achieve.
Coming in at 41mm at the bezel, tapering down to 40 toward the caseback, with a 47.5mm lug to lug, 13.25mm height and water resistance to 50mm, it’s perfectly proportioned.
The legibility of the tricompax dial is aided by a “windshield” in the handset, allowing for a rather transparent subdial viewing regardless of the time of day.
The watch is powered by the 8R48 (NE88) Sek cal, boasting a vertical clutch column wheel movement, that is arguably better than the valjoux 7750 ETA counterpart.
Taking things a step further, Pitzmann has colour matched the date wheel to the dial in this example, with a masterfully executed date frame.
The bracelet has a mix of brushing and polishing, and this example has an upgraded micro/quick adjustable clasp, along with a deployant for straps, should you decide to go that route.
Overall condition is good with the most signs of wear to the bracelet on the 12 o clock side and clasp from desk diving.
Retail on this model is US $1500 plus tax and duties
I’m asking $1999 in the GTA
