Up for grabs is a unique diver from CW.
It’s not often we are treated to something special, especially divers which are dime a dozen and usually Seikos at this price point.
CW’s Super Compressor is a masterfully crafted compressor style watch that is not only functional as a diver but fun and playful to boot.
The watch was recently purchased in Feb 2025 from CW in the UK itself and is in pretty much mint condition having been worn sparingly.
The watch is a full set and comfortable beyond comparison.
The blue dial is a spectacular hue rarely seen on any other dial and echoes the ocean tones you’d expect on your favourite beach vacation.
In true super compressor fashion, the watch’s water resistance increases the deeper you go, thanks to the system that presses the caseback tighter against the O ring gasket initially designed by Ervin Piquerez SA.
The‘diving-bell’ mark, is also present on the O ring, the logo Ervin Piquerez used to signify authenticity.
The orange and blue vintage rubber strap is pliant, supple and one of the best I’ve encountered at this price point from a brand. The hybrid strap is just as good as an alternative option.
This spec on rubber and extra strap would run us canucks $2125 delivered, on a pre order basis.
