This highly coveted Grøne Manueel One "Bart's One” was launched by the Grönefeld brothers as a nod to their heritage, and this limited run of 150 pieces has long since sold out.
Merging haute horology with affordability, this horological heavy-hitter bridges is simple and clean enough for everyday wearability.
The Manueel One’s 38.5mm case takes direct inspiration from the sculpted and award-winning Grönefeld 1941 case geometry. It features a 9mm thickness, a 46mm lug to lug and a 20mm lug width.
The wrist presence of the watch is only amplified as you move inward from the case to the dial. The centre dial features a textured salmon tremblage finish, while the outer dial touts a circular graining surrounded by a stepped outer ring that holds the minute track, printed in blue.
For added depth, the edges of the outer ring are diamond cut while the hour markers are individually applied and overhang the outer dial on to the centre dial for an almost 3D appearance.
The shades of blue are colour matched from the handset to the minute track, right down to the dial text.
Powering the watch is the manually adjusted SW210, running at -2s a day.
The watch is just about a year old and is in mint condition, having barely been worn and comes as a full set with warranty card, paper/authenticity certificate and double box
The brothers have indicated this model is discontinued and will not be replicated, so get this rather unique conversation starter at $4444 shipped from the GTA.
