I had previously posted this watch for sale in early January and almost immediately received a message from an eagle-eyed member who noticed that the centre links on the bracelet, polished from the factory, had been refinished to match the satin finished shoulder links. I had not noticed this when I bought it from a highly reputable reseller on CWC and immediately withdrew the listing and reached out to him to ask about it. He told me that he had taken the watch in as a trade and was similarly unaware that the bracelet had been refinished but right away, as I would expect from a person with his excellent reputation, offered to make it right. The solution we agreed on was for him to buy a brand new Breitling bracelet for the watch which I picked up from him this morning.
So, on offer here is an amazing 42mm, 300M dive watch with a sloped ceramic bezel that is only 12.5mm thick. The lug-to-lug measurement is 47.6mm and just shy of 50mm inluding the bracelet. It wears like a charm on my 7" wrist and I would say would be high on my list of "if you could only have one watch". It is in excellent condition with nothing but tiny hairlines primarily on the caseback. The bracelet, as previouly stated, is brand new and still wrapped in plastic and will remain so until sold. The bracelet also features one of the best internal adjustment mechanisms I have seen providing 15mm of adjustment with the push of a button inside the clasp.
The silver-white dial is beautifully offset with blued inducies and hands and gold "SuperOcean" script and on the tip of the second hand. The watch is registered for the Breitling warranty which extends to September 18, 2027.
