Ca. 1962 Longines Jamboree Ref. 6884 -7 Manual Wind Watch

This is a superb example of the Longines ‘Jamboree’ model and is in excellent condition. The watch has a very handsome, silvered, satin finished dial with applied Arabic and lozenge shaped numerals. The 17 jewel, manually wound, Longines movement is housed in a polished stainless steel case with screw-down back.

Longines calibre 280 manually wound movement, lever escapement, 17 jewels, mono-metallic balance, 19,800 BPH, Incabloc shock absorber; silvered satin finished dial, applied Arabic and lozenge shaped numerals with luminescent dots above, luminescent hands (please note that luminescence will have naturally dulled with age), centre seconds; stainless steel polished case with chamfered bezel, faceted lugs, screw-down case back, Longines winding crown; case, dial, movement and crown signed.

Dial: Very Good vintage condition with some spider-web cracking from age.

Crystal: Good condition, some scratching on surface.

Case: Excellent condition with some minor surface scratching.

Movement: Excellent running condition. Service History Unknown.

Length including lugs: 42mm.
Depth to centre of crystal: 8mm.
Strap width/lug gauge: 18mm.
