For offer is a very rare 1969 Rolex day-date President with box and papers. Watch comes as seen in photos in its stunning original condition.
Watch is excellent shape considering the age (52 years old), 22xxxxx serial, dates it to late 1969. Watch was sold in 1970 according to included papers.
The crystal shows some wear and has been previously polished. The case has been only lightly polish and all lugs are even, strong and well defined. Dial and hands are original to the watch and shows even patina (this is the no lume version)
Watch was checked by The German watchmaker in Vancouver recently, it’s in excellent shape and keeping time from -2 to +4 seconds a day, service history unknown, but case back engraving indicated main spring was replaced in mid 2000s.
