Rolex 16800, 7.4mil 1982 with matching 93150 bracelet

This was my 3rd transitional 16800 Sub, and I'd finally found the one I was looking for. These models tend to have corrosion on their hands; this one does not. Then there's the case. I tried to take a few pictures to illustrate just how perfect the chamfers are on this piece. The 30+ year old case is in excellent shape and is in better shape than my carefully used 3 year old 14060M.

Having just been serviced under a year ago, it's been great being able to treat it as a brand new watch, in and out of the water. The original G serial 93150 bracelet fits securely on my 7 3/8" wrist, and the 12th link is also included.

The matte dial is in mint order, and the tritium hour plots and hands match in their off-white eggshell patina. The dial is really what separates this watch from it's more common successor, the 16610. It really is vintage meets modern.

The original date wheel is in place, with it's open 6s and 9s. The date clicks over at midnight when hand winding, but occasionally changes dates at around 3am when doing so automatically. It has always changed over and never stuck however. The quickset works great and the watch is running to COSC spec (I believe I was seeing -2sec/day).

It's simply not being worn since acquiring two other brands over the summer.
Offered at $5,750. Payment by wire transfer. Feel free to ask any questions 613-459-6202 or sneakinstyle@hotmail.com
Thank you!
