It is crafted according to Grand Seiko’s Evolution 9 Style, which emphasizes enhanced legibility, a lower center of gravity for wrist comfort, and dynamic light interplay.
Dial Inspiration: The watch features an ice-blue radial dial inspired by the ridges of Mount Iwate viewed from above. A contrasting blued steel seconds hand and bold, multi-faceted applied indices complement the textured surface.
Ever-Brilliant Steel: Both the case and bracelet are crafted from Ever-Brilliant Steel, a stainless-steel alloy offering a higher Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) and corrosion resistance than standard luxury watch steel.
Finishing: Features signature distortion-free Zaratsu mirror polishing combined with fine hairline brushed surfaces.
