Hello all, got into watches over the last ten years or so. Really loved my old Suunto core, and helped with the original pebble watch on kickstarter but hated all the notifications.

I found some colleagues with mechanical watches and fell in love with the craftsmanship, history, materials and single minded purpose of horology.

Genuinely excited to be part of a Canadian watch community as I never knew this existed!

Proud owner of an Omega 43.5mm Ceramic/Titanium Diver as a daily and an Omega De ville for dressier stuff. Looking to expand my collection with either Grand Seiko or another Omega :)

I use Time Sharpening on St Laurent Blvd at Hemlock. He has worked on my Omega SM in the past with good results . Owners name is Ashkan.
There is also a CWC member from Ottawa that people hold in high regard @ashton_watchmaker.
I have never purchased from an AD in Ottawa or elsewhere, so can't help you on that.

Welcome Rspiller! I've also used Time Sharpening for quick service requests and Ashton Tracy for full service of my older Omegas and Seikos. I've had good experiences at the Omega boutique in the Rideau Centre, and would use them for recent models under warranty. Ashton is an independent watchmaker about 1 hour outside Ottawa, so it is generally easier to ship to him. His site is https://www.precisionhorology.ca/

I've also been to the Watch Clinic on Bank St, and is typically overpriced and poor service. Would not recommend.

Welcome to the forum from another member from the Ottawa area. Having recently moved to the area, Ashton is the only watchmaker that I have experience with and his work is excellent. He has serviced at least 10 pieces for me over the past 8 years.
