A discontinued Limited Edition honouring the jazz legend Dizzy Gillespie - only 1917 made. This is number 535.
Asking $1,200 plus shipping or F2F in the greater Hamilton area.
A unique, rectangle/square, brown plaid sunray dial. I have not seen another watch quite like this, but it is unfortunately a victim of the one in and one out policy.
Full kit: limited edition official certificate, 2009 service certificate, inner and outer box. The only thing missing from the original purchase is the limited edition CD - good thing Spotify exists. I am including both the original black Oris leather strap as well as the brown leather with contrast stitching strap that I've been wearing it on.
It has the usual swirls and little bezel dings you'd expect from a watch its age. It has one scratch on the sapphire at the 9 that you can see at the right angle in the light. I have tried to capture that in the pictures.
Stainless Steel 39x265.mm square case. Wears well on my 7-inch wrist, but it is on the larger side.
Age is approximately early 2000s - but that is a best guess.
Automatic SW200 Oris 733.
Date complication at six.
Central seconds, luminous hands, luminous Arabic numerals.
It seems to be keeping time well, but I do not have a timegrapher to confirm +/-.
MSRP is 1495USD which is roughly 2097CAD (depending on the day of the week it seems).
The previous owner had it fully serviced and overhauled in 2009 at Oris. I have included a picture of the service certificate with the work performed.
A bit more Information can be found on the Oris Website: https://www.oris.ch/en-US/product/w...eaF2p-JjzwI93XHOeDvhSC0QnceIW-xpPQB0NsJB1BnFf
And here is some inspiration while you consider from the legend himself:
Happy to provide additional pictures or information on request.
Cheers,
