The Precisionist by Bulova was a line that re-energized the brand. The seriously overbuilt watches are tough as nails, beautifully finished and deadly accurate.
This "Wilton" model is arguably the rarest of the line. Gorgeous white face with a combination of "Snowfall" finish (not unlike a King Seiko) complimented by fine concentric lines.
The movement is accurate to 10 seconds per year and the most unique feature of this movement is the sweeping second hand that perfectly mimics a automatic... no second "jump", just a smooth continuous sweep.
The "President" style hidden clasp is reminiscent of a fine Swiss watch with no buckle or clasp. Case is beefy at 46mm x 15mm with 24mm lugs / bracelet. It weighs in at 231g. It's a hefty boy. On that note: I have a small wrist (at just under 7") and despite it's size, it wears wonderfully. If you like bigger watches, you'll love it.
I have a large collection, so the watch was never a daily driver and may have seen 100 hours. Minor clasp swirls and the tiniest of hairlines on the mirror-polished case back.
Full kit w/ all the spare links and hang tag displaying it's $699 retail. I paid close to full price 9 years ago (I think I got 10 points off)
Watch was taken to Ilya at Goldtime here in Winnipeg this week. He said it needs nothing and the only thing he did was put in a brand new battery.
