Up for grabs is a true GADA timepiece and likely my favourite Rolex of all time.
Hitting all the checkmarks one might assign to a “Want List”, this piece likely has it all.
The very definition of understated elegance and saturated with versatility, this model features one of the best sunburst blue dials I’ve come across.
This generation of Oyster Perpetual also featured a quasi-maxi case as the lugs were thicker than the current generation, which allowed it to fit akin to a 38mm timepiece.
The 3/6/9 layout gives it those Explorer vibes and coupled with the blue dial, is a massive improvement on the Explorer, in my humble opinion.
The watch has minor signs of wear on the case sides and bracelet from use, nothing deep or major.
The watch is not a full kit as it’s missing the original warranty card but does include the Rolex Service Centre warranty card, with warranty until June 2026, the double box, manual, guarantee booklet, wallet, all 12 links, hang tags and an extra Steel Reef half link for additional sizing are all included
