A Helgray Silverstone Chronograph in Black (Reverse Panda). Originally purchased as a part of a Kickstarter campaign from Montreal, this beautifully reverse Panda inspired by the 60's racing era. I had worn it a handful of times so there are some minor scratches to the bezel in two places (see the last two photos).
The watch is powered by a meca-quartz Seiko VK64 which also powers the beautiful Autodromo Prototipo (link to HODINKEE article). The perfect accuracy of a quartz movement while keeping that mechanical chronograph function—chrono resets instantly. It feels like a fully mechanical chronograph on the wrist as you won't see the typical "ticking hand" found on quartz watches. A perfect watch you can pick-up at anytime.
This watch was photographed with a home-made suede strap which is not included (still need to perfect my craft!). This watch does come with the original leather carrying case, black leather strap, and the bracelet with three end links, and the original box too.
The Helgray Silverstone has zero issues, I'm simply selling it as I would like to begin funding a grail watch.
