Hi folks,
Here is one I am putting up for sale, the Tempest Commodore - an absolutely stunning watch of incredible quality. One that I love and hate to sell, but find that I prefer the look of watches slightly smaller. That and I have my eye on something else which needs some funding... I picked up this watch brand new from the owner of Tempest a little over a year ago.
This diver, which is rated to 500m, features the well-known Miyota 9015 automatic movement, sapphire crystal, and ceramic bezel. The screw down crown, marked with the Tempest logo, is easy to grasp, and very solid. The bracelet is rather unique, with a raised spine, giving it a very cool look. The 120-click unidirectional bezel, whose knurling lines up beautifully with the spine on the bracelet, is firm and turns crisply. The whole watch - case and bracelet is all titanium which gives it a much lighter than expected feel.
The case, which has a diameter of 44mm (44.5 with the bezel) sits surprisingly comfortably on my 7" wrist, largely by virtue of the surprisingly small 49mm lug-to-lug, which is a very cool feature. The caseback is a work of art, with the beautiful raised anchor. The clasp is fine-tunable to quickly adjust to the micro-changes in wrist size over the course of the day.
Comes complete with padded travel case, warranty card, and logo-bearing bracelet tool.
I have included links below to a couple of reviews as well as to the Tempest website for reference. Also all the specs are below.
The Commodore sells for $658 USD (currently $862 Canadian), but these have gone for a bit under $500 USD ($655 Canadian) on WUS. Of course, that would be with shipping and duties etc...
I am asking $620 Canadian for a local deal (Winnipeg) or $640 shipped /tracked in Canada. A whole lot of amazing watch for the price!
PM me if interested. Questions and offers welcome.
